Many street trees are weak, damaged, and ugly. Many Bronx residents suffer from respiratory problems due to air pollution and other toxic factors. Most people don’t know how important street trees are in keeping our air clean and beautifying an area.

Our friends at River Garden invited our learning work crew from Sustainable South Bronx to come to help the garden with building fixing the tree pits and installing tree guards.
