We learned about ladybugs!
Education is the seed of change.
After a rainy weekend, we learned about ladybugs! We learned that there are about 5,000 ladybug species of them. We went to the garden and released some to control the aphids, pesky pests that destroy our garden.
We looked at the ladybugs through a magnifying glass to count how many dots they had and wrote it in our journals.
Ms. B also showed us the garden calendar where we will keep track of what we are planting and when.
Finally, we picked some tomatoes and had a healthy end-of-day snack.
