From Workshops to Nonprofit: The Journey of Beazer’s Garden
Founded in 2020 as Beazer’s Garden Workshops, we have been a successful provider of environmental education workshops and related activities in New York City, partnering with organizations such as GrowNYC, the New York Botanical Gardens, AHRC, NYC Commission On Human Rights and the Department of Education.
In collaboration with our school partners, we transitioned in 2023 to provide our services through a newly formed nonprofit, Beazer’s Garden Urban Environmental Education Services, so that we can continue to partner with public schools in accordance with NYC Department of Education regulations
